Description: Are you someone who loves organising things, and is comfortable communicating on the phone? Our monthly social group is looking for a reliable volunteer to phone older people once a month, and to help organise a monthly group. What's in it for volunteers? Make a real difference in the lives of older people Re-engage provides online training to help volunteers get the most out of their role Volunteers will develop skills in communication, and community engagement. The volunteer can make the calls at a time that suits them, making this a very flexible home-based role. The group is held at the John Holt Community Centre, once a month on a Wednesday 12:30-2:30. The volunteer is very welcome to attend.
