Description: Do you enjoy talking to people? Do you want to help people build confidence in their spoken English and support their integration into the community? Do you love meeting new people and learning about different cultures? Become a Conversation Club Facilitator at Bolton College! We run conversation clubs all over the Bolton boroughs including online. . Conversation sessions normally run once a week for 2 hours a week. We follow the college term times, so you'll have half terms and the longer holidays free. Sessions run Monday - Friday and can be during the day or evening. . You don't have to be a teacher! The role is to facilitate conversation. There is a short training course before you begin, and you will be observing other sessions before you start, too. There will be plenty of support! . All materials are included. . You can choose to be either an assistant or lead the sessions. . We have group meetings every month and have regular workshops and training sessions. . You can also get involved with our language exchange events! It's a great way to meet people and improve your own confidence, as well as looking great on your CV! We can also provide you with a reference for employment applications. All volunteers will need to complete an enhanced DBS check before starting with us. This will be free of charge and organised by the college at the interview stage.
