We support a diverse range of people that have a variety of living experiences such as Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, sensory challenges, Mental Health and Dementia We ask that our volunteers communicate effectively, bring a calm, understanding manner to the role, and can offer empathy and support when working with vulnerable adults. By bringing your own skill set and life experiences, you will also greatly enhance the experience of those who attend our centres. We have roles available across our organisation A risk assessment will be carried out for all activities and full instructions and support provided to carry out this role. We hope this role provides a fulfilling opportunity to contribute to adult social care, whilst offering a range of benefits for our volunteers including a social boost & connection into the community, wellbeing benefits through the activities and spending time in our outdoor spaces and an opportunity to gain valuable (work) experience in this field. Further details can be provided on request. We are always available for an informal chat, and will provide a full role outline and volunteer agreement on appointment.
