Description: Men’s Group Volunteer Role: To attend and assist with the monthly Men’s Group. Purpose of this role: To offer a listening ear and support to male carers. Helping to signpost if necessary or refer to other services within Bolton Carers Support. Making sure men have somewhere to meet up and feel supported in a male environment. Tasks & Responsibilities: Helping male carers feel supported and listened to. Providing a safe space for male carers to speak. Raising awareness of other services available within Bolton Carers Support and signposting to other help and support available. Providing a friendly and warm welcome and making everyone feel included. Skills & Qualities Needed: You must have excellent listening skills and excellent communication skills and a willingness to want to help others. Confidentiality is essential.
