Description: Justicia is a fair trade shop in Bolton town centre and has been open since 1985. Run by a small team we offer varied and interesting volunteer roles in the shop and warehouse. We stock thousands of products from all over the world grown or made by fair trade producers so a passion for fair trade is a bonus - we find our volunteers are inspired by being surrounded by beautiful and interesting products. Our shop is staffed by volunteers four days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday) working either morning (10am-12.45) or afternoon (12.45 - 3.30pm) This role includes working on the shop floor, serving customers, using the till, using the card machine, restocking shelves, putting prices on goods and checking stock levels. You will be friendly and presentable, interested in the stories behind our products and willing to work as part of a small team. We also have opportunities working in our stock room which involves putting together orders for customers, processing stock deliveries and general warehouse duties. We are also keen to work with volunteers who are interested in helping with our website and social media Some of our voluteers have been with us for all 40 years we've been open and we're friendly, warm and welcoming. Whether you want to come in for a couple of hours every week or once a month we look forward to welcoming you to our team.
