Description: Volunteer Role: Inputting into the planning, organising and promoting of fundraising events. Days/Times: Ongoing throughout the year. Purpose of the role: To ensure Bolton Carers Support has funding to continue to run events/training/ workshops/activities for Bolton Carers. Location: Thicketford Centre, Bolton Borough wide Tasks & Responsibilities: Attending fundraising events and collecting funds on behalf of the Bolton Carers Support. Approaching local business, local authorities and individuals to encourage donations. Organising and helping with fundraising activities such as sponsored or promotional events. Plan and deliver events and activities to raise funds and awareness. Publicise fundraising events and activities within the local community.
