Organisation description: Inspire SYC aims to empower of people living in Bolton to live better and healthier lifestyles and to help them get quality support where necessary by providing support groups, activities, and aid. The development of people, particularly BAME communities and younger people is achieved by training workshops, sports, arts, mentoring and community development/cohesion projects. The wider community is supported through distribution of food and essential items to the less fortunate and to the elderly alongside organising community cohesion activities which involve larger group cohorts. Inspire SYC further strives to identify and tackle inequalities, represent and work for people who are living in deprived communities. It enables said people to participate in their healthcare; make safe and informed career choices and to give confidence and empowerment through various mediums such as training, mentoring and the arts.
