Organisation description: Fortalice was established in 1977 and provides front line services including a 22 bed Refuge for women, children and young people who have or who are suffering the effects of Domestic Abuse and Violence. A diverse range of services including training for professionals, are on offer at the Outreach Support Centre, our Children and Young People's (CYP) Hub and in the community. The Outreach Support Centre and CYP Hub offer support and advice to over 1,000 women, men and young people each year. Women, men, families, children and young people are supported through various activities either on a one-to-one basis or in group sessions to address the abuse they have lived with. We work to promote and ensure a future free from abuse. Educating young people is a key part of our service.
