Organisation description: PLAY SPORTZ is a non profity community organisation established several years ago, where we present various sporting activities to both children and adults on a weekly basis. It is non competitive so no leagues, which means no pressure on anyone, purely for fun to tackle social and mental wellbeing within the community. We have over 12 volunteers, some Level 1 qualified. We also put on mini excursions, tournaments internally, and open event days throughout the year. Our main venue is mostly at Westhoughton Leisure Centre. Our dream goal is to have a bit of land and club house of our own so we can extend to do additional activities but also winter/spring/summer and autumn camps etc.
