Organisation description: GMESS aims to support residents of Greater Manchester who are affected by inflammatory skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, severe acne, and contact dermatitis. Living with these types of skin conditions can be emotionally and physically draining and also socially isolating. Our support activities focus on lifestyle change to better manage these conditions and include online peer support groups, wellbeing courses, and 1-to-1 coaching. People who are affected by these skin conditions deserve a better quality of life, the outcomes of our work are for service users to: • Develop a greater awareness, knowledge, and skills to better manage their condition. • Be less isolated and feel part of a community with a shared experience. • Have a voice, feel listened to, and supported to take action on issues that are important to them. • Have improved physical and mental health.
