Who the organisation is for: Young Children (aged 0 -12), Only Women, Only Men, Young people (aged 13-25)

Organisation description: Mandhata Community Centre is a constituted organisation formed in 1966 with aims to provide a warm, friendly , safe environment space for the community of Bolton. Two floor building is open to all diverse community within Bolton and also has a room within the building which is used as a temple. Services and activities take place every week from children's activities, Hindu festivals, Christmas, Halloween, public events: weddings, engagements, charity events, bereavement recitals. Yoga sessions on every Wednesday. Bolton Mandhata Group provides activities for children and young people from sports to dance, school revision classes and outdoor activities. Our main focus is also to provide services to older people who cannot go out too often due to age, disability or too disorientated. Festivals and events gives them purpose to come to the centre and have hot meals. Centre is used as Polling station at election time and also used as faith trail visits from the schools through Interfaith Council. Centre is managed entirely on elected members and volunteers and is affiliated to numerous organisations in Bolton and UK. .
