Organisation description: The purpose of the Group are: • To create a greener, cleaner local environment, improve the local environment and surroundings around the Bridgeman neighbourhood. This would involve: a. reporting of fly tipping in the area b. working with the council and councillors on street cleaning issues • To promote community safety by working with the police, relevant authorities and councillors to address criminal activity like drugs and anti-social behaviour. • To organise volunteers for litter picking events, and to negotiate with public authorities in order to arrange for the most efficient disposal of litter collected • To organise a range of activities that bring the community of Bridgeman together, reduces litter and changes people’s mindset and attitudes towards littering
