Organisation description: We believe every baby should start well and every new mum should have the opportunity to succeed regardless of their circumstances. Referrals to our service come from Midwives, Health Visitors, charities, or social services for those struggling due to due to deprivation, abuse, addiction or other challenging situations. We provide essential baby items for babies aged newborn – 3 months. A safe place to sleep by the provision of a Moses basket, clothing, toiletries, and bedding. Sterilisers and prams upon request. Provision of labour bags, maternity pads, toiletry essentials in addition to information on safer sleep, perinatal mental health, and local support. Our team of volunteers lovingly prepare each item communicating a message of value and self-worth to that woman and her baby.
