Organisation description: The Society is structured to incorporate community led and involvement, bringing together likeminded individuals with the interest and appreciation in the environment, gardening and wildlife. Affiliated to Westhoughton Community network it aims for all groups to share and participate in bringing Westhoughton back into colour, greener, creative and rural into a town that it was. Its proposes to take care of the plants and planters on Market Street and target to have all year round colour and displays. To encourage year on year growth at designated sites and locations and displays through planting to attract wildlife and nature and better the environment we live in. To inspire tree planting to help contribute to Co2 reductions and help our young generations of Westhoughton people to escalate to a cleaner and greener town, and a legacy to the prospect of safe and environmental place to live.
