Bolton Cancer Voices

The organisation’s themes: Emotional Wellbeing, Health, Keeping Active and Involved, Leisure and Hobbies, Mental Wellbeing, Music

Who the organisation is for: Men and Women

Organisation description: Formed in 2012, we are an inspirational, welcoming mixed-voice Choir open to anyone 18 years and over, who has received a cancer diagnosis of any type at any time. Membership is FREE: there is no requirement to read music and no auditions to worry about. We have no geographical restrictions, as long as people can travel to Bolton for rehearsals. Though cancer brings our Choir together enabling people to meet others in a similar situation, the focus is on sharing our love of singing, having fun experiences, rising to new challenges and the anticipation of forthcoming appearances. We have lots of laughs; plenty of things to look forward to and never let cancer stand in our way or stifle our dreams and aspirations. Whether you’re new to singing and keen to give it a try or a seasoned performer, we’d love to hear from you. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of something very special.
