Organisation description: The target group is anyone who is affected or involved with the the issues concerning Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Wellbeing. The main target group will be Parents, Carers, Education providers, Health and Social Care and Voluntary sector organisations and including the Child or Adolescent who may be affected by Mental Health Issues. The main feature will be a web-based platform with access to information, training and support. The main focus of Calmerkid C.I.C. is to develop, maintain and update an informative website/portal. This will be a valuable resource in providing information, support, education and training via the website. There is no other one out there and we feel that there is an absolute unmet need. As the waiting list for established health providers is ever increasing Calmerkid C.I.C will offer General Child and Adolescent Mental Health information, training, promote positive mental health, provide insights and Tips to for Parents, Carers, professionals (including Teachers, Social Care and Voluntary Sector Projects) or anyone concerned or wishing to learn more about a Child or Young Person`s Mental Health.
