Organisation description: Can-Survive UK provides culturally sensitive support and information to people living with and beyond cancer, their families and carers. At Can-Survive UK we recognise that everyone is an individual, that’s why we provide you with support that is person centred and culturally sensitive – whatever your cultural background or need. We offer a range of services tailored to the needs of diverse communities, including: Support groups Coffee Connect Chat MOT (Men only Thursdays) WOW (Women only Wednesdays) One-to-one services Counselling and life coaching Massage therapies Relaxation therapies Advice and information Advocacy Group activities Meditation classes Breathing and movement Art Therapy Talking Therapy Structured workshops Healthy Diet and Cooking Coping with anxiety and stress Mental Health and Wellbeing Cancer awareness Home visiting service We understand that there are times when you may require support at home, you may be going through cancer treatment and not able to attend our Centre, you may be caring for someone coming to end of life and worried as to what services to access. Please call us for a chat to discuss your needs and how we can assist. Information service We have access to resources and information from Macmillan, Breast Cancer Care, Orchid, Prostate Cancer UK and other mainstream cancer organisations. MOT – Men Only Thursdays – offers men an opportunity to share experiences healthy-eating-5 Can-Survive UK workshops cover topics such as Healthy Diets and Cooking, Coping with Cancer and Health & Wellbeing
