Organisation description: The founders of Bolton Muslim Welfare Trust first came together in 1985 to help support the social and welfare development of the local community. As members of the local community they envisaged that in a multi-cultural society like Britain, it was vital to integrate with the mainstream society at the same time preserving their heritage, values and Islamic belief. To foster closer collaboration between service providers and the Bolton’s Muslim communities to deliver accessible, effective, and culturally appropriate care, empowering individuals through inclusive health initiatives that address health inequalities which are data driven and lived experiences
