A few words from Dawn Yates-Obé, Chief Executive of Bolton CVS…
With the new financial year comes Bolton CVS’ new website and data management system, which we’re very excited about! Our ambition is to continually evolve our services and methods of communication so that we’re as accessible as possible. Our digital ‘face’ at Bolton CVS felt unchanged for too long and in need of a lift; and some of our ‘back office’ systems were slowing us down. Well… not anymore! We’re off to a flying start to 2023/24 and can’t wait to engage with you, our VCSE sector and partner colleagues in new, more creative ways.
As well as a digital facelift, we have plans to refresh our physical meeting places at The Bolton Hub. We feel it’s important that the spaces where we invite our partners and communities to meet, share, celebrate and deliver life enhancing activities are as welcoming and engaging as the people who occupying them. More to follow on that!
The role of the team at Bolton CVS is to support the VCSE sector to do what they exist to do as well as they possibly can; and it’s their commitment to making a positive difference in our communities that inspires us every day to continually improve and evolve our offer (so that we can keep up with our brilliant sector!). We are embedding new ways of working whilst persistently exploring more. 2023/24 will inevitably be challenging in some ways and, no doubt, throw us all some unexpected curve balls; and that’s why we’re not being complacent and ‘sitting still’ at Bolton CVS. We’re evolving, alongside our VCSE sector and wider partners; so that together, we’re ready!
