On Wednesday evening, we held our Annual General Meeting. It was a chance to come together and celebrate another wonderful year of Bolton CVS supporting Bolton’s Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise sector to do what they do best, and to let our members have a say in the way we do things here at Bolton CVS.

At our Annual General Meeting, we were lucky enough to have three new trustees approved by our members, and we want to take a moment to introduce you to the fantastic new additions to our team!

Angela Kelly – Journalist

“I am a down-to-earth semi-retired working journalist and Bolton citizen who genuinely cares about the town and recognises the value of Bolton CVS in both caring for its residents and creating a better future. I’ve been actively involved in Bolton life for more than 50 years and it will be an honour to help drive BCVS forward.”

Skills:

David Germain – CEO of Lancashire Outdoor Activities Initiative

My commitment to inclusion is at the heart of my work; I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive and have their voices heard. My lived experience has shaped my understanding of the challenges faced by many in our community, and it fuels my dedication to creating accessible and supportive environments. I have a proven track record of empowering individuals through education and outdoor learning, and I will ensure that Bolton CVS remains a champion for inclusivity and social justice.”

Skills:

Minesh Patel – Chairman of Play Sportz and Director of Value Supply Management Limited
