Governance in any voluntary, community, or social enterprise group is essential. It involved every decision a VCSE group makes, from the long term goals of the charity, complying with legal requirements, accountability within the company, and setting out policies and activities to achieve a groups desired objective.

Good governance will allow your VCSE group to meet its objectives while making the best use of the resources you have at your disposal. It will allow your group to operate responsibly, maintaining accountability, awareness, impartiality, and transparency throughout your operations.
