Bolton’s Fund exists to support the VCSE sector in Bolton to grow and thrive. Bolton’s Fund grants will fund projects and activities that benefit people and communities across the Borough of Bolton.
We welcome applications from voluntary groups, community groups, charities or other constituted not for profit groups who are based in Bolton or who deliver activities in Bolton and that benefit Bolton residents.
All projects that receive funding will need to demonstrate how their proposed project will address one or more of the Bolton’s Fund priorities. The priorities are guided by Bolton 2030 Vision priorities.

Bolton’s Fund: Large Grants is project funding for Large charities and charitable organisations who are based in Bolton or who deliver activities in Bolton or who deliver activities in Bolton that benefit local residents.
In order to be eligible for a grant in the Large Grants fund your organisation must have an income of more than £1m in the last full financial year.
All projects that receive funding will need to demonstrate how their proposed project will address one or more of the Bolton’s Fund priorities. Please read the guidelines below before submitting an application.

Application FormBolton’s Fund, via the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has committed a further £250,000 in the Bolton’s Fund Grants programme to enable Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations to provide crisis support to vulnerable households in the most need with the cost of essentials.
Large grants (up to £15,000) from the Household Support Fund can be used to support vulnerable households with essential costs related to the rising costs of energy and food and wider essential costs. The grant can also be used to support costs related to the provision of debt and benefit advice.
