Proposed Public Spaces Protection Order

Date:
Wed, 18/07/2018

On 9th July 2018, the Council’s Executive Cabinet Member for Environmental Services approved a report for consultation - to consider whether a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) should be introduced in Bolton Town Centre.

A PSPO would give the Council the relevant powers of enforcement needed to tackle issues such as aggressive begging, anti-social behaviour and street trading.

They want to ask for your views about this proposal.

If you have any comments or would like to send us your views on the proposals, you can respond to the consultation by emailing us using consultation@bolton.gov.uk or by completing the Questionnaire

Please send us your views by Friday 17th August 2018.

In your response please detail how the proposals would impact (if at all) on your organisation and the people you represent.

Please feel free to forward this email to any other interested parties who may wish to complete the survey during the consultation period.
