Giving Back in Bolton Project Lead
Bolton CVS, together with the Be Safe Bolton Strategic Partnership, are delighted to be recruiting a professional lead for the Giving Back in Bolton Project. The successful candidate will be a passionate, motivated and forward-thinking individual and sit as part of the wider Community and Engagement team.
Volunteering provides an opportunity for people to be involved in positive, meaningful activity. It improves peoples self-worth, confidence, skills, increases social inclusion and has been proven to reduce rates of criminal re-offending. The post holder will work with partners across Bolton and beyond to break down barriers and build capacity for people with a history of offending to become involved in quality, supported volunteering opportunities. This is an exciting post which has the potential to greatly impact the quality of life for individuals, local organisations and the wider Bolton community.
Bolton CVS welcomes applications from people with lived experience of offending. For an informal discussion about this opportunity, please contact Lauren McKechnie, Volunteering and Development Services Co-ordinator on 01204 546010 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
