Developing a GM Hate Crime Strategy Workshop

Registration is closed for this event

Across Greater Manchester (GM), partners are developing a GM wide Hate Crime Strategy to ensure there are consistent messages across all areas on how we address and tackle hate crime.

To help inform the strategy, Be Safe Partnership are seeking views from as many community groups and partners as possible to ensure matters of hate crimes affecting them are voiced and considered when setting objectives and priorities.

This short workshop has been designed to gather the views of voluntary and community organisations in a number of areas including:

  • Understanding current work being undertaken around hate crime
  • Views around prevention, reporting and hate crime training
  • How best we can monitors issues around hate crime and build cohesive communities

As part of the consultation, we are also inviting voluntary and community groups to complete the Hate Crime Strategy questionnaire which will be live until 10th February 2019.
