How to access the Community Asset Navigators Programme
In order to ensure that the Community Asset Navigator offer meets the needs of people in communities across the borough, we’ve aimed to make the programme as simple to access as possible, here’s how you can make a referral:
Members of the public, staff and volunteers can access information about voluntary and community groups online via the Bolton CVS website and the ‘find a group’ function: https://www.boltoncvs.org.uk/directory.
If further guidance and support is required, you can make a referral online for yourself or on someone else’s behalf if you’re a member of staff, a volunteer or a carer.

The referral will generate either a telephone response or email response from the Community Asset Navigators, depending on what you choose and a navigator will aim to be in contact within 5 working days.
Where there is no internet access or you prefer to make a call, you can telephone the team at Bolton CVS who can process a referral for you via the website on 01204 546 010. Alternatively, you can leave a message directly with the Community Asset Navigator team on 01204 546 048 and they’ll either call you, or the person being referred back. The team aims to respond to all messages within 5 working days.
You can ‘pop-in’ to the Bolton Hub, where a member of the front desk team will be able to process a referral for you, or you can access the on-line form via one of the publicly accessible computers.
The aim is to promote access across the borough, through UCAN’s, health centers, Libraries and other community buildings.
